What is remedial Massage?

Remedial massage is a form of therapeutic massage that aims to help manage and alleviate pain, tension, and discomfort in the body. It uses various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and stretching to target specific areas of the body that are experiencing pain or dysfunction.

What Can remedial massage help with?

Remedial massage is often used to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal issues such as chronic pain, sports injuries, postural imbalances, and tension headaches. It can also be used to help manage conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, and sciatica.

What Happens in a treatment?

During a remedial massage session, the therapist will typically perform an initial assessment of the client's condition, which may involve taking a medical history, performing a physical examination, and assessing the client's range of motion and posture. Based on this assessment, the therapist will develop a treatment plan that is tailored to the client's specific needs and may involve a combination of massage techniques, stretching, and other modalities such as heat or cold therapy.

Why remedial massage?

Overall, remedial massage is a highly effective form of therapy for managing pain, tension, and dysfunction in the body, and can help to improve overall physical and emotional well-being.
